Thanksgiving!!!!

YAY, today is finally thanksgiving. I got to go home and see my family who I have missed incredibly much. We are having my mom's side of the family over for this thanksgiving. The food is going to be so good. Its going to be awesome to see my aunts and uncles who i haven't seen in a long time. Another reason why I am so happy is becuase all of my friends who went to college are coming home and I will be able to see them and hang out with them. This is going to be a great break!!!

OSU vs. UofM

The day finally came, the day I look forward to all year. The final big ten game between to hated foes. Ohio State, Michigan. The most heated rivalry in all of college football. My friends Mike and Jake accompanied me to Ann Arbor where we were going to watch the game. I was so estatic the whole day. I was one of the few people to be wearing scarlet and grey in the middle of state street. Mike and I went to college gameday to try to get on tv but I dont think we got on. Then came kickoff. I knew that we were going to win. The game was fast, and then the first play from scrimmage after halftime Chris "Beanie" Wells broke a 62 yard TD run and it was over. It was a fun day and even better becuase Ohio State won.

New People!

Over the summer after I had already signed to play baseball at Madonna, I was very concerened that I wasn't going to like it as much as I would if I went to a bigger university. As of now I am having a great time, and I have met a fair share of people. I have met a few that I hang out with daily and they are very nice. They are really good friends and I am very glad that I came here becuase they have made me a better person.

Fall Baseball Ends

Fall baseball is officially over. It was a ton of fun, but at the same time I'm kind of glad that it has ended. This was the most baseball I had played in one year. I started in jaunuary conditioning for my upcoming senior year in high school. Then I played all through the summer only to play more until the end of october. Although the majority of the year i spent playing baseball it was definatly worth it. I learned alot through the fall and i became a much better player. The team is very good and I can't wait until the spring to see how good we can be.

First week

My first week at Madonna has been an eye opening experiance. There has been so many new people i have met, classes are tougher, and baseball practice is a lot more challenging than any other practice i have ever attended.

I have met a few new people that i want to get to know really well. Things are alot different here. The classes are so long, it is really hard to sit through a three hour class, and be able to retain most of what we learn. I want to meet a few new friends.

My goal for school is to get at least a 3.5. I want to keep my grades up so that I am eligable and can play on my own terms. Also getting good grades will help me keep focus, and it will help me on the feild becuase I wont be worrying about my grades when im playing.

Baseball practice is harder than any practice then I have ever been in. Each practice is three hours long, compared to high school, which was only two hours long, is a lot tougher and faster paced. We are always doing something during practice and we are always working. I like it a lot though becuase there is always time to get better and keep working. My goal is to not get redshirted and make the traveling squad, and go on the team trip.
